You Don't Have to Be Fully Healed to Begin

God, this one hits different today.

I've been sitting with this belief I carried for years — that I had to be completely "fixed" before I could help anyone else. Before I could write anything meaningful. Before I could charge for my work.

Like I needed some kind of spiritual graduation certificate.

I remember literally telling myself: "Okay, just work through this one more trauma response, then you'll be ready." "Fix this trigger, then you can show up." "Get your shit together FIRST, then you can offer guidance."

But here's the thing nobody tells you about healing work — there's no finish line.

There's no moment where you suddenly become this perfectly centered human who never gets activated or has bad days.

And thank god for that, honestly.

Because the people who resonate with my work? They don't want to hear from the "fully healed" version of me (does she even exist?). They want to hear from the woman who's still figuring it out. Who's done some work AND is still doing the work.

When I started sharing from my actual reality instead of waiting for some imaginary future version of myself, everything changed.

My audience grew. My work got better. My income increased.

Not because I was more healed, but because I was more real.

The wounded healer isn't a consolation prize. It's the whole point.

Your scars aren't disqualifying you — they're qualifying you. Your process isn't a problem to solve before you begin — it IS the work.

I'm writing this for anyone who's been waiting in the wings, thinking they need one more certification, one more therapy session, one more breakthrough before they're "ready."

You're ready now.

Messy, imperfect, still-figuring-it-out you.
